Press Release 05/12/06

Systems Solutions is the only Irish healthcare software company to be ranked in the 2006 Deloitte Technology Fast 500

Systems Solutions attributes its 419% percent revenue growth to the introduction of an innovative sales model coupled with a focused geographic expansion.

Dublin, Ireland - 05 December 2006 Systems Solutions Limited announced that it ranked number 250 on the 2006 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Rankings are based on average percentage revenue growth over five years, from 2001-2005. Systems Solutions grew 419 percent during this period, and is the only Irish healthcare software company and one of just seven Irish software companies to achieve a ranking in the top 500.

deloitte_fast_500Systems Solutions’ founder and Chief Technical Officer, Mr. David Raethorne, credits the introduction of a new international sales model coupled with strong export sales with the company’s 419% revenue growth over the past five years. He said, “We’re thrilled to be ranked amongst the EMEA’s most successful technology firms for the second year in a row. The importance of this ranking is particularly highlighted when we consider the fact that there were twelve Irish software companies listed on the Fast 500 EMEA last year, and this year there is only seven, of which Systems Solutions ranked fourth. As the only Irish healthcare software company to achieve a ranking, Systems Solutions continues to deliver cutting-edge applications for the healthcare sector because we listen to what our customers want. This has led us to develop a new type of sales model which allows us to target and serve larger and more lucrative customer segments in international markets”.

The company also secured the ranking for being the 15th fastest growing technology company in Ireland in the Deloitte Fast 50. Announcing the winners of the Technology Fast 50 programme, David O’Flanagan, Partner with Deloitte, Dublin said: “What’s very encouraging about this year’s awards is that we are seeing strong performances from both new and previous entrants. This bodes well for our indigenous Irish companies and proves that Ireland is consolidating its position as a key player within the sector, while simultaneously producing fresh and innovative new companies.”
