How do I check which version of Helix Health Software I am running?
Answer: In
order to check which version of the Software you are running you will
need to access the System. Once you are on the main menu screen the
version number you are running will be displayed on the bottom left
hand side.
An
alternate way of checking is to select Enquiries, About This
System and press ENTER. The software version number is displayed at the top of the pop up screen.

Question: How do I maximise my Helix Health software screen when it is displayed
as a small window on my PC Desktop screen?
Answer: Sometimes
when you double click your Helix Health Desktop icon it opens in a
smaller version displayed on your desktop. To maximise the display
to full screen view press ALT + ENTER (keys) together.

Question: How do I run the Drug Information CD? What do I do if it fails?
Answer: To
run the Drug Information CD please follow these steps:
- All
users must be logged out prior to running this update.
- Put
the CD into your CD Rom drive.
- Go
to the Administration Menu on your main screen of CliniCHEMO
and press ENTER.
- Select
Update Drug Information and press ENTER.
- You
will be prompted with the message ‘the utility will update your
Drug Information system by installing new Drug Information Files’.
Press ENTER to continue.
- Confirm
the location of the update file by replacing A: by simply typing D:
or E: and pressing ENTER.
- The
update will then start.
- This
process can take up to five minutes to complete.
- Remove
the CD when complete.
IF
IT FAILS:
Sometimes the Drug Information CD may not be read correctly, in this
case please follow these steps:

All
users must be logged out prior to running this update.
- Put
the CD into your CD Rom drive.
- Double
click on the My Computer icon on the desktop.
- Left
click on CD drive “D or E”
- When
the CD opens - click on Edit and then Copy.
- Double
left click on the “C” Drive.
- Double
left click on the Druginfo folder then left click on Edit and
click Paste.

Question:
What do I do when I get the error: ‘Cannot find working folder’?
Answer: If
you receive the error ‘Cannot to find working folder ‘
please follow these steps:
- Select
the icon on your desktop that says My Network Places, or
Network Neighbourhood.
- Right
click on the icon.
- You
will be presented with a menu - left click on Map Network Drive
option.
- Choose
the Drive “G:” (using the down arrow or browse).
- If
you click on the down arrow in the field (textbox) below called
Folder or Path a list should appear.
- Choose
the top option listed – don’t worry if there’s only one
option. If you receive an error though select the next option on the
drop down list.
- Make
sure that the check box is ticked for Reconnect at Logon.
- And
then click on OK.

Question:
I don’t want to schedule more than one regimen to a patient at any
time?
Answer: You
need to change a configuration setting. To do so select
Administration, Edit Files, Miscellaneous Files, Configuration
File, Cytotoxic Details and press ENTER. Then select
Cytotoxic Details Part 1 and press ENTER. You need to
ensure that option 12: Allow Multiple Regimens is set to No.
By doing this the system will not allow you to schedule more than one
regimen to a patient at any one time.

Question:
I want the system to ask for the manufacturing time when preparing
the worksheet?
Answer: You
need to change a configuration setting. To do so select
Administration, Edit Files, Miscellaneous Files, Configuration
File, Cytotoxic Details and press ENTER. Then select
Cytotoxic Details Part 2 and press ENTER. You need to
ensure that option 19: Ask for Manufacturing Time is set to
Yes. By doing this the system will always ask for a manufacturing
time when preparing the worksheet. Based on this manufacturing time
the system will work out the exact expiry time of the drug.

Question:
When I log into CliniChemo I want the system to open the Worksheet
Production option?
Answer: You
need to change a configuration setting. To do so select
Administration, Edit Files, Miscellaneous Files, Configuration File,
Cytotoxic Details and press ENTER. Then select Cytotoxic
Details Part 2 and press ENTER. You need to ensure that
option 12: Auto Start Worksheet Production is set to Yes. By
doing this the system will automatically open up the Worksheet
Production screen when you log into CliniCHEMO.

Question:
Can I change the login user without exiting fully from CliniChemo?
Answer: It
is possible to change the login user with out exiting fully from
CliniCHEMO. Simply, escape back as far as the Main Menu screen and
press F10. The system will prompt you with the log in user
box. Enter the user code and password and the system will
automatically login with this users access rights.

Question:
Can I print a list of patients that have not had their treatment?
Answer: The
Missed Schedule Report will generate this information for you.
Select Reports, Regimen Reports, Missed Schedule Report and
press ENTER. The system will ask where you want to view this
information. You can select a printer or print to screen. The
Missed Schedule Report generates a list of patients and their
worksheets that have been scheduled on or before today’s date but
have not been printed.

Question:
If a patient is too ill to receive treatment that is scheduled but
they still need to receive it how can I change the scheduled dates?
Answer: Select
the patient and view their Treatment Schedule. Using the ARROW
KEYS move the highlight bar to the component that requires
re-scheduling. Press F7 the Reschedule Key. The system will
ask if you want to re-schedule the date, time or quantity. Select
Re-schedule Date and press ENTER. The system then
displays four re-schedule options:

Re-schedule
the only the current component. If you select this option the
system will re-schedule the highlight component only.
- Re-schedule
all remaining identical components. If you select this option the
system will re-schedule all remaining identical components to the
highlighted component.
- Re-schedule
everything from this point forward. If you select this option the
system will reschedule every outstanding component for the patient.
- Re-schedule
on the balance of this cycle. If you select this option the system
will re-schedule the remainder of the cycle that you currently have
highlighted.
Select
the required re-scheduling option and press ENTER. Then enter
the number of days you want to re-schedule by. E.g. you want to
re-schedule for 7 days time. Type +7 and press ENTER. The
system will re-schedule for 7 days.

Question:
I have printed a worksheet for a patient but they have not received
the treatment. How can I put this back on the treatment schedule for
the patient?
Answer: Select
the patient and view their Treatment Schedule. In the Completed
Components section highlight the worksheet using the ARROW KEYS
you want to un-print and press F8 Unlock or Un-print. The
system will ask are you sure you want to un-print this worksheet.
The system defaults to Yes, press ENTER to accept. You must
then enter a reason for un-printing the worksheet. The worksheet is
then un-printed and appears back in the outstanding Treatment
Schedule for the Patient.
Question:
For a particular component I must have a total volume of 100mls. How
can CliniChemo allow me to do this?
Answer: When
at the approving worksheet calculations stage you can change both the
solution volume and cytotoxic drug volume before proceeding. In
order to achieve a total volume of 1000mls take the following steps.

Take
note of the volume of the cytotoxic drug that the system has worked
out for the patient. Example: 37.5ml
- Take
note of the solution volume to give the patient. Example:
100ml.
- Take
the volume of the cytotoxic drug from the solution volume.
Example: 100 – 37.5 = 62.5
- Reduce
the solution volume by this figure. Example: 37.5 + 62.5 =
100
You
now have a total volume of 100mls. This is made up of 37.5mls of the
Cytotoxic and 62.5mls of the solution.

Question:
Can I batch produce worksheets for different patients using
CliniChemo?
Answer: You
can batch produce worksheets using CliniChemo as long as the volume
to give is measured in a flat dose. You cannot batch produce for
different patients where the volume to give is measured in 2g/m2.
Question:
Can I specify that I need to skip a cycle for a particular component?
Answer: You
can do this very easily. Select Administration, Edit Files,
Cytotoxic Files, and then Regimen Files and press ENTER.
Select the required regimen and press ENTER. Select option
9: Component Information and press ENTER. Select the
component and press ENTER. On the component information
screen option 23: Cycles to Skip will allow you to skip a cycle for a
component. Enter here the cycle number you want to skip. If you
need to skip more than one component separate the cycle numbers by,
(comma) and press ENTER to save.
Example:
You need to skip cycle 2 and 4. Type 2,4 into the Cycle to Skip
option.

Question:
How can I block a user from having access to the Administration
section of CliniChemo?
Answer: Select
Administration, Edit Files, Miscellaneous Files, User File and
press ENTER. Using the ARROW KEYS highlight the user
you want to restrict access to and press ENTER. Select option
7: Change Menu Structure and press ENTER. The system will
display the menu structure for CliniChemo. Beside each option you
will notice a tick
or 1 symbol beside each option. To restrict access to the
Administration menu move to the Administration option using your
ARROW KEYS. Press the SPACE BAR and the tick or 1 symbol will disappear. You have now restricted the
access for his user to the Administration menu. Press ESCAPE
once and then press ENTER to save this change.
When that user logs in to CliniCHEMO from no onwards they will not
have access to the Administration menu.
