in a number of Health Service Executive (HSE) areas, the system has
been tailored to reflect localised HSE requirements and can be further
tailored to suit the individual patient care and business processes of
individual nursing homes.
Helix Care Manager© boasts of a
comprehensive patient database with integrated medication recording,
Barthel® index, waterlow assessment and individual patient care plans.
The financial module accommodates patient billing, subvention systems,
statements and reminder letters, as well as comprehensive financial
reporting and period-end analysis.
Just like
other Helix Care Manager© software
applications, Helix Care Manager© is
completely scalable to suit all needs from single-site, multi-user
installations to multi-unit, geographically-dispersed, large-scale
organisations, with centralised accounting and a centrally-managed
patient database deployed over broadband technologies and using a VPN.
