Helix Health was established in 2007 as a result of the merger between Systems Solutions (leading provider of pharmacy management software) and Medicom (market leader in general practice systems), becoming Ireland’s largest indigenous healthcare IT provider and an emerging player on the international front. In 2009 the company expanded further when Health Ireland Partners, one of Irelands leading primary care medical informatics companies, merged with Helix Health.

The organisation has been delivering healthcare information systems since 1987 and has grown its footprint in the domestic and overseas market steadily since then. Today Helix Health products are used by over 10,000 healthcare professionals across Ireland and the United Kingdom.

In 2009 Helix Health became Ireland’s only Healthcare ICT Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.
