Our CSR

As a long established company in Healthcare ICT in Ireland, Helix Health believes strongly in the importance of sponsorship and investment in research, innovation and education in the healthcare community. Being a responsible company not only complements our long-term business objectives but also strengthens our reputation and creates vital links with the communities in which we operate.

CSR is integral to our vision to create an integrated, more efficient and patient-centric health system in Ireland. As a leading provider of healthcare software and IT in Ireland, an essential component of our corporate social responsibility is to improve people's lives through technology.

Our CSR activity focuses on four main overarching areas :

Our People

Our policy involves the promotion of ethical Management and open and clear communication channels. As we believe our employees are one of the most important stakeholders, we ensure workplace programmes to respect work-life balance, employee training and development opportunities, award and recognition programmes and a healthy and safe working environment.

Our Environment

We endeavour to continually improve on and reduce the impact of our company with regards to energy and resource consumption, recycling and waste management.

Our Marketplace

We strive to offer the best in terms of product innovations, quality, value, pricing and customer service, consistently. Our vision to create an integrated, more efficient and patient-centric health system in Ireland is backed by our dedication to building relationships with government and other complimentary technology companies. We also engage our customers and groups of expert stakeholders to augment our knowledge of the market.

Our Community

We are proud to give back to the communities that we operate in and believe in sustainable corporate giving and employee volunteering which supports charities and organisations especially in health and education.

Highlights from 2009 include:

Christmas donation of €2500 to Barrestown Castle, Kildare

Barretstown is a specially designed camp, providing a programme of adventure, activities and fun - backed by the medical world - which helps children with serious illness regain their confidence and self-esteem.
