Helix Health develop and promote, amongst other innovations, electronic 2d barcoding, electronic lab links and software/ robotics modules for monitored medication dosage and medication compliance in a bid to reduce cost and medication errors in Primary and Secondary Care. The Helix Health e-Health agenda is aimed at enhancing patient care and enabling Healthcare Professionals and Government to provide a more streamlined, efficient and cost effective service. In 2007 Enterprise Ireland invested in a minority stake in Helix Health to support continued R&D to facilitate the vision of a “joined up” healthcare system and to promote further growth both domestic and international.
