ICPC 2-PLUS and HPM integration

In keeping with Helix Health’s commitment to product innovation and improvement, we are delighted to announce that we are the first European healthcare ICT company to successfully integrate with  the ICPC-2 PLUS classification system.  

According to Dr. Helena Britt, Associate Professor and Director of the University of Sydney "The International Classification of Primary Care, Version 2 (ICPC-2) is used in a variety of countries around the world, and is implemented using a variety of interfaces and local terminologies. This is the first time ICPC-2 PLUS — the Australian interface terminology which is classified to ICPC-2 — has been implemented in Europe."

 

ICPC-2 PLUS, which is now available in Helix Practice Manager, is the most advanced coding system on the market and currently contains over 7,400 commonly used General Practice terms. The system has been designed to provide user-friendly, timely access to terms and delivers greater specificity for data input than the ICPC-2 classification.
