Major Release in Pharmacy: QicScript.net and QicPOS.net version 8.6.2 |

Helix Health has today begun the rollout out of QicScript.net and QicPOS.net version 8.6.2.
This major release will be delivered in a phased manner but all customers will receive their upgrade by Monday, 1st November.
This critical release allows your software to facilitate the successful operation of the 50c Levy in accordance with legislation. This includes the ability:
- Manage family groupings i.e. patient/family linking
- Exclude categories of patients
- Provide direct access to the HSE website to check family status
- Change the levy cost if legislation should change in the future
- Manage nursing home prescriptions
- Set a maximum levy per family
- Print the new format receipt on the unified claim form
In addition, this Major Release includes customer change requests which will help you to run your pharmacy in the most efficient and profitable way possible. For example, the system will now have complete pricing flexibility allowing you to change fees or apply reductions at product, customer and scheme level.
